The History of Sneakers

I like to wear the sneakers because it looks cool and has many design but I never know it's history until I found this. The names Sneakers come from they are very quiet, and a person who wearing them could sneak up on someone. This is a little history about them. In the late 18th century, people wore plimsolls, they are rubber soled shoes. There was no right or left foot. In 1892 the U.S. rubber manufacture came up with Keds, they were more comfortable rubber sneakers with canvas tops. By 1917, they began to be mass produced. Nowadays, there are a lot of sneakers from many brands, and the sneakers are very popular too. More information from this site.
